Despair is Paralysis
I don’t focus on the despairing environmental news on my page, because I’m sure even a person who has been living under a rock already gets enough of that from all the other news sources. In 2022, we all know that the scale of human-induced ecological damage is staggering.
But despair alone will lead to paralysis. And that is why I focus on teaching you restoration. I want you to heal and develop your relationship with the land. I want you to sit under the squash vines and feel empathy for a little ant who’s seeking refuge from the scorching hot sun under the squash leaves. I want you to change your mindset from that of a land owner to a steward of the land. It all starts with the relationship to the land.
Restoration is the antidote to despair.
