Relationship Advice is Waste of Time
I don't give relationship advice because I think relationship advice is a waste of time.
To me, relationship advice is a set of rules that teach you how to MORPH your individuality into a version that PLEASES another person. Why should I hold your hands in public if I hate PDA and also I hate sweaty palms? And why should I be vilified for not wanting to hold hands?
I would much rather teach you how to become the KINDEST, most COMPASSIONATE, and UNAPOLOGETIC version of yourself, one who is so DEEPLY GROUNDED in who they are that they ONLY attract in their life the people who match their frequencies. And likewise, you should be so deeply grounded in who you are, that the MOMENT your true self is compromised, you should be willing to walk away with zero reservation. There IS no compromise here.
Additionally, the math of relationship angst never clicked in my head. It NEVER made sense to me why, with all the ENDLESS mysteries and wonders to LEARN and DISCOVER in the world....like the BEAUTIFULLY pigmented plate of tomatoes here, basically a "Still Life" painting by Nature that I can stare at for HOURS....that anyone would have the time or energy to worry about trivial things like "does he like me?" or "why won't she text me back?" Like my dad always says: "You have a lot of free time, right?"
And admittedly, I USED to let people rope me into the relationship discussions, and I would participate to fit in with my friends circle. But then I realized I wasted a ton of energy and time over something I cared absolutely NOTHING for. So if you want my opinion on "men are this" and "women are that"....here's my answer:
You are both immensely annoying. I'm out of this conversation. I have better things to do. Now back to my tomatoes...
