Follow Your Natural Rhythm

Some people wake up at 4:00am and go to sleep at 8:00pm and get a lot done between those hours.

I wake up at 8:00am and go to sleep at midnight and I still get a lot done between those hours.

Those are my natural hours.  I function well during those hours.  I don’t have to push or motivate myself to be productive.  I just naturally fall into my rhythm.  And I still find time for leisure garden strolls.  My creativity blossoms at night.

Hustle culture has created this narrative that if you don’t wake up at 4:00am and track your sleep with an app, then you’re a failure.

You’re not a failure.  Do those things if they work for you.  But letting your body function at its natural rhythm is perfectly fine too.
