The Language of Flowers

Once upon a time, I used to speak the Language of Flowers and enjoyed putting together arrangements from blooms that I foraged from my Mom’s garden, in the wild, at the farmers market…etc.  I’ve mentioned that I don’t consider myself an artist, but if I have any artistic skills, I would say working with flowers is the closest talent I have of the visual arts.

I don’t know why I stopped working with flowers. I find the time spent to be incredibly therapeutic. Maybe I should pick up those floral tapes and scissors again, eh?
